Attorney General Jackley Asks for Clean Campaign Pledge from Noem
South Dakota AG Marty Jackley is asking U.S. Rep. Kristi Noem to sign a clean campaign pledge.
Jackley says he thinks the campaign should be about moving South Dakota forward. The South Dakota primary election is in June.
The pledge requires the candidates to promise to conduct an honest campaign. It also includes a pledge that the candidates will not engage in negative or misleading attacks against the other.
Noem and Jackley are competing to succeed outgoing Republican Governor Dennis Daugaard.
UPDATE: Noem Rejects the pledge. Stay tuned folks. It’s on now.
