LEAD South Dakota highlighted by Washington Post
What started as a small gathering following the 2016 election has grown into a thriving political organization involving thousands of South Dakotans, and national media has taken notice.
LEAD South Dakota was highlighted because of its work to promote women to office in Sioux Falls and across the state. LEAD is raising up a new class of candidates working to transform the local and state political landscape.
“LEAD is an organization looking to promote a new generation of leaders with good ideas to office,” said Susan Kroger, co-founder of LEAD. “In the nine months since the election we’ve grown our membership and momentum. This national coverage proves we are not alone, and we are here to stay.”
